Adoption Application Process
When you arrive at the shelter to adopt a new pet, you will have an opportunity to spend time with the animal. Once you have decided that the new pet may be a good fit for you and your family, you will be asked to complete documents associated with the adoption application process. Adoption fees include microchipping, licensing with the County, spay/neuter, current vaccinations (including rabies) and 30 days pet health insurance for just $1! In some cases, the pet you applied for can go home with you the same day!
Some tips for you to consider before adopting a pet dog or cat
1) Animals are loving and caring - will you/your family have time to spend every day playing with and caring for your animal?
2) If considering adopting a dog, do you have sufficient room for a dog to exercise?
3) Pets require vaccinations and occasional medical attention - are you able to ensure your pet receives proper medical attention?
